October is the month that FCCLA really starts to take off, and we have all of our members working hard! Every month though, there is that one member that particularly stands out like Denzil.

He is a 10th grader and has been a member for 2 yrs. We asked him a few questions and this is what he had to say: " I love FCCLA because you get to help people. You don't have to give to receive, because you automatically receive something. I live by the motto: Be what you are no matter what"

People describe him as "Crazy" which he terms "Loveable tiger". He has12 brothers and sisters, so he knows how important family is. He loves to listen to Keith Urban, play on the computer and hang out with friends. Ten years from now he plans to own his own party planning business. He's got my business. He sounds like a fun guy!

What an outstanding member for this month! This is Maisey's 1st year in FCCLA. She is a freshman and here is just a few things Maisey said she enjoyed about FCCLA: "You get to help people while being with your friends and every hour counts. All of your time is appreciated by the community.I live by the motto, which is " Without God, without everything."

People describe Maisey as being cheery and motivating, but she describes herself as "indescribable", which shows she is unique. She loves to swim, so if she were an animal she would be a dolphin! She has an older brother who is a senior, Xalyn Peek, and a younger sister who is in the 7th grade, Haleigh. She has a beagle and a mutt, so she has a pretty big family. Her favorite color is green, and in her spare time she likes to play softball and be involved with FCCLA! Ten years from now Maisey sees herself working on her bachelor's degree in college!
